Article 5: Duties of the Council
Section 1:
The Chairperson shall preside at all meetings of The Group, decide all questions of order according to the Constitution and Bye-Laws or, in cases of doubt, at his/her discretion. He/she shall represent the Group at meetings of the Association of Consultants and Specialists in Restorative Dentistry. The Chairperson may elect, at his/her own discretion another member of the Council as a representative in his/her absence.
Section 2:
The Honorary Treasurer shall receive, give receipt for and be accountable for all monies belonging to The Group. The funds for The Group shall be kept in a bank approved by the Council. A written report of the financial position of The Group shall be prepared for the Annual General Meeting, which shall be audited by the two scrutineers elected at the previous Annual General Meeting.
Section 3:
The Honorary Secretary shall be responsible for all business of The Group. He/she shall keep minutes of all meetings, conduct the correspondence and prepare a report upon the work of The Group for the Annual General Meeting. |
