Section 2: Council
The council shall consist of the officers of The Group and six other members of The Group, at least one of whom shall hold a specialist registrar contract. At least one member of the council shall hold an NHS contract and at least one shall hold an honorary contract. One member must be in year one or two of a training programme. One member must be a monospeciality trainee. These members of the council shall hold the posts of:
- First and Second Year Representative
- Academic trainee representative
- Monospeciality trainee representative
- NHS trainee representative
- Ordinary representative
- Webmaster
The council, at the discretion of the officers of the council, may invite individuals to be present at meetings where their presence is deemed to be of benefit to the working of the council. Such individuals would be present in a non-voting capacity. This includes the Flexible Trainee Representative, who is not a member of the council. |
