The restorative management is often the responsibility of the Consultant in Restorative Dentistry who helps the patient to maintain any remaining teeth, as well as providing appropriate appliance therapy. A group of patients for whom careful supervision, preventive support and timely care is necessary are those treated with radiotherapy to the head and neck.
